Vegan Gluten Free Cupcakes from Swirlz, Chicago

 

Swirlz in Chicago has the tastiest vegan cupcakes.  If you’ve had them from the WholeFoods Market bakery, they are pretty good to OK, But fresh from the store, nothing else compares.  Get on down to Lincoln Park (by DePaul’s campus) and check his place out.  Note Belden is a one way street, make sure you are the right way coming at it from. Try not to get too overwhelmed 😉

Above are. PB and Chocolate, Carrot Cake, Banana Creme, and Chocolate raspberry surprise, with a surprise raspberry creme filling.

Vegan Greek Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Vegan Buffalo Chicken Greek on a wrap instead of a bun from Kitchen 17 Chicago.  Words can not describe the awesome of this thing. A veggie burger, marinated buffalo hot sauce (just right) soy ‘chicken’, cukes and tomato..but the best part of all…this vegan feta that is out of this world. Mmmmmmmm!

Vegan Salad, Almond pate, cabbage slaw, fennel salad, sprouted beans, raw food

 

Raw food Friday! A power greens salad with almond pate, fennel salad, red cabbage walnut raisin, traditional coleslaw with rainbow peppers, fennel salad, Mediterranean style cucumber salad and sprouted bean salad.  Can we say WOW! What a way to start the weekend.  Karyn’s Fresh Corner Chicago rocks! Like I always say, if you’ve never had Karyn’s you have no idea what RAW eating really is. No lie!
